The Devil Lamb
One of the most pervasive demons in the world is the “I want to be noticed demon” or the “look at me buddy “(LAMB). I first became aware of this demon as a child in church. The traditional church I attended did not practice the public casting out of demons, so it just hung around sometimes for years or until someone modest and humble made a point of it. If it got too out of hand, and down right embarassing, someone would finally say something. In the old traditional church this demon would sometimes sit down on the front pew with a big hat that everybody for three rows would have to look around, and always made some kind of noticeable entrance or exit.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10
Since the days of my youth this devil has found somewhere where he is a lot more comfortable. The charismatic church. My brother in-law insisted several years ago that I leave the old dead church I was attending and go with him to where something was happening. In the old traditional church it would take several Sundays sometimes for this LAMB devil to show itself, however it didn’t take 30 minutes at my brother in-laws church. Before the first song was sung a couple people started speaking some gibberish so loud that everybody quit singing and just dropped their heads and listened. During the sermon this devil got into a young man and caused him to jump up and run around and up and down the aisles. I would have thought the pastor would have put a stop to this but rather he encouraged it and said the spirit was moving.
By the time this service was over I had seen people fall into someones arms and then lay on the floor and shake, while the pastor and his wife yelled for them to be loosed from something. After the service my brother in-law asked me if I saw how the spirit moved. I told him, “yea , that LAMB devil moved from your pastor right to those folks”.
Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool lays open his folly. Prov.13:16
