Todd Bentley and the Florida Outpouring Part 2

I’m reading things about Todd Bentley that disturb me. I’m seeing things on Youtube that make me shake my head and I’m receiving emails that either praise me for bringing this to the publics attention as well as some who call me names my mother didn’t give me.

This Todd Bentley is quite a character. The guy has tattoos and piercing that make him look like a gang leader. The strange thing about this? He got all this done after he became a “Christian”. In fact he got all the painting and piercing done after he was actively involved in ministry! Why would Bentley do such a bizarre thing such as this?

Andrew Strom, a man who was once involved in the “Prophetic Movement” nonsense, had this to say regarding Bentley;

“Now, I have come across Todd Bentley’s teachings on “How to visit the Third Heaven” before, and I tell you, it is nothing less than Guided Visualization’ taken straight out of the New Age movement. Nothing less and nothing more. It is exactly the same. And I want you to know that if you attend these kinds of things, or allow these men to ‘guide’ you or lay hands upon you, then you are opening yourself up to all kinds of spirits and demonic counterfeits. As I have stated before, this movement has absolutely NO DISCERNMENT at all. It has sunk into such deception that it’s leaders are opening people up to all kinds of demonic experiences on a daily basis. It has no idea that it is even doing it. -It behaves exactly like a movement that has been “given over to deception” by God. I urge again that everyone reading this would prayerfully consider CUTTING OFF all ties to this movement, lest you yourself become tainted by it“.

Bentley’s teachings resemble “New Age”? All kinds of spirits and demonic counterfeits? What’s a supposed “Christian minister” doing involving himself in a mess like this? Strom said a mouthful when he stated that the “Prophetic Movement” had NO DISCERNMENT and it’s obvious that those who sit under this lunatic haven’t any discernment as well!

Strom further states that those who sit under their teachings are guided by or who allow a lunatic like Bentley to lay hands on them are opening themselves up to unfamiliar spirits and demonic counterfeits. Geesh….this lunatic lays hands on as many people he can, yelling “bam” “bam” “bam” and pushing people so hard they fall down……which makes him laugh. The Holy Spirit is supposed to be the One knocking the folks down eh Todd….at least that’s what he claims….now we know better….the Holy Spirit isn’t in the vicinity of this “outpouring”.

Bentley is a part of Elijah’s List……that includes propheliars like Patricia King, Kim Clement, Rick Joyner, Cindy Jacob’s and Matt Sorger. Being on this infamous list allows them to promote their false prophecies as well as hawk their worthless books, CD’s DVD’S and trinkets to those who foolishly believe these propheliars speak for God. I can honestly say there isn’t one name or one “ministry” on that list I would trust….and that includes Bentley and ANYONE affiliated with this “outpouring”.

I don’t know exactly what voice those who sit under the teachings of Todd Bentley hear…..but I know it ain’t Jesus’ voice. How do I know this? Todd Bentley’s teachings contradict God’s Written Word…..and in my next segment I will dissect his teachings to show you EXACTLY how and WHY you should avoid this man and his “outpouring” like the plaque.
